Habitation des Lauriers was built in 1901 by a French family from Corsica as a private house. It was renovated in 2009 and became a hotel with the current owner. it is such a wonderful place to be at. From the first detail to the last one, you will be embraced by its warmth and family environment. The HDL (Habitation Des Lauriers) gives a unique impression.

First thing first! Let's talk about your arrival!
As you walk in, you'll be able to see the town of Okap in a beautiful panoramic view where you can see the Cathedral, the beautiful view of the Caribbean Ocean and enjoy the breeze.
The bar is on the left side which will immediately come into view. The reception is on your right hand side. This will probably be the first place you will visit to do your check in and meet our receptionist who will be in charge of assuring that your stay is comfortable and pleasant.
The reception has been decorated to give you a feeling of peace.
There is also a living room with a bookshelf if your hobby is reading. You can lay down on the couch while you enjoy one of our delicious cocktails, smoothies or natural fruit juices. There are different artistic aspects that will catch your eye. Such as different paintings created by different Haitian artists.
You can enjoy a cool breeze while sitting on the porch or on one of the benches in our front garden.
And, last but not least, our swimming pool facing the bay with all its charm and beauty.
